In November 2022, the RHA entered into a contract with the La Plata Economic Development Alliance (LPEDA) for administrative support and services. The two organizations are aligned on the need to create, encourage, and preserve housing solutions in La Plata County.
Following three years of partnership and significant progress under the support of the La Plata Economic Development Alliance (Alliance), the Regional Housing Alliance of La Plata County (RHA) announced on November 14th, a transition to a new operational structure as the Alliance’s administrative contract concludes.
Positions Open
The Regional Housing Alliance of La Plata County (RHA) is soliciting proposals for two contracted positions that will support regional housing efforts and organizational operations. Qualified professionals are invited to review the descriptions below and submit proposals for either the Housing Program Manager or Accounting Services contract.
Housing Manager
The RHA Board of Directors is inviting proposals from experienced professionals to serve as Housing Program Manager for a 12-month contract. The role includes managing RHA grants and contracts, supporting partner jurisdictions with Proposition 123 and other state housing programs, and coordinating administrative functions for the Board. Candidates with background in affordable workforce housing, grant management, and local government collaboration are encouraged to apply. Proposals are due December 5, 2025 by 5:00 p.m.

Accounting Services
The RHA Board of Directors is seeking proposals from qualified professionals to provide part-time Accounting Services under a 12-month contract. The selected Accountant/Bookkeeper will support the RHA’s financial operations, including monthly reporting, accounts payable, grant-related invoicing, preparation for annual audits, and maintenance of accurate financial records. Candidates with experience working with small local governments or quasi-governmental organizations, grant and contract management, and QuickBooks Online are encouraged to apply. Proposals are due December 5, 2025 by 5:00 p.m.
